Is this a good one there are a few features that don't seem right but that could be that I'm only used to 'the norm'?

It´s a perfect original buntmetal "unknown maker" (which some say it coud be FLL made).

Hi guys im interested in whats happening under the eagles rear tail feathers ? there appears to be a deep recess or hole.

That´s the "normal" fitting hole for the eagle attachment to the wreath. The rivet seems to be out of center or got a repair. Hard to tell from the pictures.

Maybe one addition to my first opinion....the catch/hook of the badge doesn´t look 100% textbook, but I wouldn´t be afraid of that style.

Hi Gerd i was confused when you said Buntmetal the eagle is buntmetal the wreath is zinc so was looking at photos of tombac examples
the eagle is exactly the same st the BM version and the wreath exactly the same as the zinc versions including the hole .

Sorry, no confusion wanted

Badge is (IMHO) complete Buntmetal/tombak made! DN wrote something different in his COA for this badge, but the fitting of the needle system is not the one for zinc bagdes.
