Hello Gents
Could you take a look at this badge,I think its gen.As you can see its been bashed about a bit.The wreath appears to have taken a hit at about 5'o clock as you look at the front (its bent in).The catch has also been replaced with some of the solder defacing the front of the badge.Apart from that it looks to be a good badge with tombak eagle and zinc wreath,

I agree it is authentic. Too bad about the damage, but the eagle and front of the wreath still look pretty good.

I agree, it's an original example, but that damage / defacement is a bit much for me - too bad is right! I believe this is the one that sat on Herr Weitzes' site for a while?
