Only one of your pics seems to be loading. I've not seen a hook like that before, but may be ok but would need to see better pictures of the whole badge!

    Cheers mike

Such badges you have to love or to hate........ I would call it a "it could be"

The hook is the one you normally find on L59 EK1, never saw it on a para badge. A repair? Dono, the pictures aren´t that good.
I know 2 styles of hooks which you can find on such late war bagdes ....that´s not one of them.

The swaz is a way to thick for original "unknown" maker badges (FLL some say ) . So called known originals will show a very fragile swaz. A feature you can find on the Buntmetall or zinc ones of that maker.

So, what do we have? 2 odd (hook and swaz) features.

The rivets look fine, the "bubbling" zinc effect as well............

        2:2

Not close to any textbook unknown maker bades in some details. Not close to any fake I know.

        My result:

Without a rock solid history (near impossible to get nowadays), I wouldn´t spend too much money on such a badge.

Many thanks Gerd and all the others for your help.
I will show you a few pics of his assmann cased assmann badge. I think this original.
