I started a collection of post-war german paratroopers vets reunion insigneas. It is not a great subject but it could be collectible one day.

I think you are right Jean-Yves, many of these badges ( especially the early ones ) were very nicely made and you can still buy them very reasonably. I recently saw one that was for one of the first reunions in the early 1950's. It was a beautiful thing and the price was only $20. Unfortunately the only ones I have are for the "treffen" that I have attended myself.

PS: Some of the early table flags for the Treffens ( many at that time hand made with bullion ) are beautiful pieces as well.

Yes, I agree that the Treffen badges are unique and collectible. There must be 100's of variation, units and dates. Here are just a couple of Sturmregiment ones.

Yes I am happy to have one from 1954.It is true that you are many insigneas. Funny to see that you had soem plastic ones in the 1970s.
