I read the article on the Heer para badge and it says the aluminum type should weigh 13grams what should the weight be on the zinc zinc type?

Has the weight been a factor in determining fakes or are the fakes the same weight and just have different characteristics like those described in the article written by Eric and Prosper?

I have an APB it's weight is between 12 and 13 grams. If its a fake at least they got the grams right.

Weights

Have weights from 2 that I believe are good (unmarked, fine zinc, minor variations in hinges---both are short bar-barrel type). First one is 54,70x42,32mm, 30,69 grams; second 55,00x42,52mm, 29,18 grams.
