Outstanding Flugbuch to Paratrooper RK & EL Winner
Flugbuchs to paratroopers are rare anyway, but this is perhaps the best one I have ever seen. Its to Kurt Groeschke who was one of the very first paratroopers under KOCH ( later of Sturmabteilung "KOCH" / Eben Emael fame ) as a member of "GG" ( General Goering ). Groeschke won the RK on 9.6.44 and the EL on 9.1.45. The book has 29 jumps entered from FEB 37 to MAY 39 ( too bad the 10.5.40 & 20.5.41 combat jumps are not entered ). This piece, along with Groeschke's pilots flugbuch are being offered at Leisure Galleries
