M38 Italian Camo Helmet?

Comments would be appreciated on this M38 which I believe is Italian Camo.
The helmet was originally painted in tan, and then over-sprayed with green patches. The helmet is named to a Lt. G (?) Brann (but any help identifying and confirming the writing would be greatly appreciated.) Originally owned by Bill Shea, the helmet then passed to Gailen David before being sold to a fellow forum member here in the UK a few years ago.
