I'm hoping someone can provide some further information - and possibly a photo - of Hauptmann Dr. Martin Kemnitz. Here's what I've got so far:
Born 17 August, 1912 [where?]
Wounded 1 October, 1942 near Stalingrad as Oberleutnant & commander of 4./Fallschirmjäger-Flak-MG-Bataillon
Iron Cross Second Class on 10 October, 1942.
[When did he receive the EK1?]
German Cross in Gold on 1 January, 1945 as Hauptmann & commander of Fsch.Pz.Jg.Abt.2.
Survived the war.
Died 17 March, 1995 [where?].
And that's all I've got. Any additional details, particularly his places of birth and death, would be greatly welcomed. Also more info about Fallschirm-Panzer-Jäger-Abteilung 2.
