    FJR6 Cammo Ammo Tin

    Hello,

there was a thread on this forum that I now have real difficulty finding regarding FJR6 Cammo Ammunition Boxes, one with a tactical symbol on... a hammer I recall.

I cannot find it anywhere and have put it through the search engine on numerous occasions. Can anybody help me with the photo of the ammo box or diagrams/photos of tactical symbols of FJR6?

Thanks for your help and as always, very best wishes, Paul.

    Hi, Paul

I think that the collector was luft76 . He's a French collector from Normandy. Try to send him a private message .

    David.

(I look for an original II FJ korps cap badge (Meindl badge))

I saw this thread and thought you might like to seem my ammo tin, I found this last year (minus the lid ) along with a pair of battered ankle boots, a stick grenade and some other bits and pieces (bread bag strap, K98 rounds etc...) in a stable. The owner gave me permission to look round when I was metal detecting nearby and approached him for permission to sear his land. Anyway the Farm where I found the box is at "La Croix Picard" between Meautis and Rafoville, one map I saw had II/Fjr6 makred on the map at that farm.

The ammo was given to me by the owner of the farm, shame the lid is missing.

                Here they are...

Both were found in "La Barquette" area. But I am always looking for the origin of the symbol.
