      What's the date on it??

EDIT: Also, if you go to Lexikon-der-wehrmacht.de, you'll find some info on the unit. I see the date is probably Mar. 45.

Some people cover the name of the person so the family, or even the original awardee, isn't identified in public.

      MORE EDIT: http://www.feldgrau.com/9FJD.htm

Not trying to be rude, but what internet did you search??? There's a bit of info out there.

      thanks
      Hank

        ..

hank the date seems to be 14 maerz 1945 ( 14 march). The document is nice, but not extremely rare.

I tought you got enough informations about the unit!
Perhaps it is possible to show us the letter from Oblt. Herminghausen?
                Would be very interesting!

EDIT: Fallschirm Jagd Brigade served 3.45/4.45 under 9. Fallschirmjäger DIvision and was formed from Fallschirmjäger Lehr Regiment.

                  Hi daflocki007,
sure, the information you gave me were more than enough. I just thought that to show this document to FJ collector would be very interesting. I often looked through new threads or offers from dealers but never found this unit.
I only knew from your infos, so thx again.
                  regards
