The lot does come from Lobenstein, so perhaps 'mit Vorsicht zu geniessen...'.

Nice photo but it certainly is not of the same man as the wehrpass and documents belonged to.

Too bad he is not selling the photo seperately.

To be fair to him he does say the picture is of a comrade and not the owner of the wehrpass.

Well, it went for 955 Euros - about £700. The buyer must surely think they are the same man...oh dear.

If you check the buyer's record to date, he seems to have a habit of paying high prices for things. Too high, IMO. $1,000-plus is a lot to pay for a group of this type to a late arrival in the Sturmregiment. The Wehrpaß is interesting. So is the PoW card. And so are the letters. But a grand? No way! $ 300 to $ 400 tops. And the photo? Who knows if that was really his mate?
