RiRi DRP marked zippers

Hi guys would like your thoughts on these zippers i aquired,all are Marked RiRi DRP,there is 16 in total.

so you are happy with these Zippers for original smocks?,any idea of value?,they are not forsale! i doubt i could replace them.just need to know if i got a bargain

I meant exactly, and you kindly provided. As I told Bob via email, the metal RiRi zips I am familiar with (pre-war) are not like these.

Looks like Bob is going to need a lot of period leather pulls. LOL!

many thanks for your comments,i think the nuts and bolts of whats being said is JH wanted some photographic evidence of this particular type of zipper being used in the construction of wartime smocks,Steve you showed us a couple of great pics of this type of zipper in use. JH is now happy ,hence his comment " Bob should now look for the period leather pulls to go with them,hes not saying there repro, Well thats how i read it.......BTW these zipps were fitted to old military equipments bags when i purchased them,they are not new made,it took about 20 minutes per bag to remove the zips with a special needlework tool

.......BTW these zipps were fitted to old military equipments bags when i purchased them,they are not new made,it took about 20 minutes per bag to remove the zips with a special needlework tool
