For my part the case is original but I have doubts concerning the inside;
In fact I have never seen an inside with this color

I think that the last solution is the serial number under the carton , but the seller don t give this information

Xavier, the hardwear looks legit (IMHO)

I saw purple and light blue ones, but this is more "Schlüpferfarben" ( ladies panty colors)..........the coloring looks so odd, that it must be good

Hi,
I also have a case like the one you posted. Sorry, but I don't have any pics at this time of it. It came from one of the top names in the hobby and is featured in Kurtz's book on the Fallschirmjager. As to the reason for the different materials? No specific reason, but mostlikely made from other materials that were avaliable when they ran out of the standard at the producer.
