Thanks for the info. One came from the George Woodbridge collection which was put together decades ago but did contain a number of fakes.

perhaps I should be more frank.

Both badges are total fakes. The one on the right is a very common reproduction, available in large numbers at militaria shows like the SOS and MAX.
