What do you chaps think about this badge. I think the pin hinge pin may have been replaced as it looks a little untidy/new but other than this it looks good to me?

Couple of questions:

a. I know the 'Brandenburgers' were issued this badge in 1943 and that original Heer paratroopers used it for replacement Aluminium badges when lost/damaged BUT was this Heer version issued to the Waffen SS 500/600 unit or was it the Luftwaffe Version?

b. How do I join as association Member - I tried Emailing but got no reply...?
