What is this pouch ????

Hello Guys.

I need help identifying this pouch.
It was sold to me as a Fallschrimjagers' MP-40 jump pouch.
It does not flourish under Black light, and appears to be in the
typical Luftwaffe Blue canvas that other WWII period items I have
is done in. It is supposedly pictured in some book about FJ items.
My MP-40 fits inside with the stock folded, but is baggy....
Any ideas of what this is exactly ???

Here is a shot of the leather on the opening end. Somewhat dry
and cracked leather, but still fairly pliable....

here is a close up of the marking on the leather.
it is marked "fuq 1941" with a Waffenampt underneath.
the Waffenampt reads "WaA14"......

here is another shot of the opening with canvas fabric lining the mouth
of the pouch to double thickness. No lining inside the body of the
pouch....

Not for the MP40...the ones I've seen for MP40's have a long shoulder strap and press stud closure...this appears to be for some piece of Luftwaffe equipment....I have some pouches that are the same style but no one seems to know what piece of equipment.

Perhaps some sort of gun barrel cover and if its LW related (based on color) perhaps a "bordwaffen" for a vehicle or an airplane (while on the ground)"

Many ordnance items (which is what I suspect this is) were in blue-gray, so it doesn't mean this is a Luftwaffe issue item.
