Did Fallschirjagers use Bayonet knots?

does anybody know if the fallschirmjager's used luftwaffe bayonet knots? if so what was the color pattern? most of the knot's I have come across are for artillery flak units and admimistration.

Well there was no special bayonet frog tassels for Fallschirmjaegers....and color of the tassel depended on whether you were a private or an NCO. If you were a private then it goes into different colors depending on the size of the unit (headquarters, Battalions, regiments, etc) and type of the unit/branch you were assigned to (Flak, Artillery, signals, Flight, Medical, etc). A NCO's tassel had no such color code/unit affiliation. A good reference for this is in the Uniforms and Traditions of the Luftwaffe, Volume 1.
