    Tuchrock ?

Have a look on the photo. It was taken in 1940, I believe in the area south of Rotterdam. Are they wearing the Tuchrock ?
But to me the sleeves looks different...

    Once again !

What uniform does the men wear on the right ? The Photo is taken in 1940 near Dordrecht !

Its not a Fliegerbluse (in 1940 there were no breast pockets)..

If you think of of Tuchrock... why can it be closed so high near the colour. I have a Tuchrock myself and it can not be closed that high....

Is it a waffenrock ??? If so... When did the Waffenrock enter service ? (The photo was taken in 1940!)

    ........

      Hi Pietje,

the Waffenrock was introduced in November 1938.

I am more curious about the Tuchrock in frontline service in 1940 with the German Paras.

Someone told me the Waffenrock was introduced later then 1942.

With your info it seems it is Waffenrock afterall....

here a photo taken in 1940 in Holland I posted on another forum (reenactment).... It shows two men with a jacket that looks like a Tuchrock but without French cuffs....

Waffenrock? Or is there a difference between a Waffenrock and a M43 ?????????????

I think it is the Waffenrock on that pic. No fake french cuffs, and maybe the neck closure is only hard to see.

Can some one tell me what decorations Oberst Brauer was awarded till may 1940, or do some have a photo of Oberst Brauer in Tuchrock (with decorations he is wearing on it visable) !

                Thanks in advance
