Max Schmeling

I just couldn't resist sharing this acquisition with those of who know who Max Schmeling was or, to be more precise, who Max Schmeling is, because he is still alive. For those of you who don't know, there's a recent thread about him on this forum. The photo, a classic PR shot, is dedicated and signed by Schmeling to his friend, the General Manager of the prestigious Europa-Hof hotel in Berlin, way back in 1929.

How old is he now? Something like 93? Didnt I hear somewhere that he hurt his back on a practis jump . He landed on an other guy, or the other way round?
