          Indeed very interesting, particularly the goliath tank. I wonder how real all the scenes are though, and how much is reenacted.
          No men are killed, the ennemies lose, a guy with a scared face and a "thousand yard look" searches for the ennemy tanks, there are only a few lightly wounded men. War is great... if you believe this propaganda movie!

            JL one of things the German Propaganda machine was renouned for was never showing a dead German soldier despite the millions of KIA on all fronts. When defeats were screened they were always shown in a heroic and dramatic light. No doubt that some of the scenes are staged but german PK men were very often stationed very close to the front and did capture genuine combat footage but to be honest if were holding a camera with all the metal flying around, it be kissing the dirt sharpish!!!!

              A pure propaganda movie, the largest part reenacted no doubt about that.
              Nevertheless nicely made and some good images.
              But we have to remember with these films is that they where made by a very professional PK unit to be shown in cinema's to keep up the moral of the Germans at home.
