After the recent helmet thread I'm looking forward to finding out more details about the assault on Eben-Emael, can anyone recommend any books on the subject? Tim.

Hello Tim,
The best book ever written about this subject-matter is sadly only available in French or Flemish, it has all the combat reports in it from the Belgian - and also the German side.
The book is : "ceux du fort d'Eben-Emael" the book has no specific writer it is published by the veterans orgainsation of the fort and I'll think it is still published and you can orderer it with the organisation that does the visits in the fort. If you look at their website (easy with a google search) I'am sure you'll find it easly.
The pocket version : Fort Eben-Emael by Rene Vliegen is also good and imo still available with the forts tourist organisation.
