Hello Sebastian,

Can you help with Feldwebel Haug? He was in Fj Rgt.1, and part of Granite's assault on Eben Emael. I've never been able to find his first name, and thus the rest of his service record. There can't have been many Haugs in Rgt.1.

Also, is it possible to find out anything on W. Fontaine from Fj Rgt.1 or Rgt.2

Thanks for trying Sebastian. Without these soldier's complete names I think it will be difficult for WASt to be of help. I don't believe that a W. Fontaine is listed among the gefallen.

At the expense of John's post (sorry John!), is there any way to determine the identity of the owner of a FJ para helmet I have? The helmet is marked "Lehner 139". I have no idea how to proceed and it would be fantastic to find out any information. Any suggestions would also be greatly appreciated!!
