    (Fallschirmjäger?) boots question?,

After my last thread concerning period German boots I realised that I still have a lot to learn about this subject, for me a reason to start a thread regarding a pair of boots who have strong similarities to the German WWII FJ boots. Like mentioned, I see strong similarities to the WWII German fallschirmjäger boots, but tree strong differences occur to me on first sight, no slit in the heel, difference in some stitching and the sole seems to been build up out of more layers then the tree textbook German boots seem to have. These boots occur period to me, but if they are not FJ boots what are they?, regular army, foreign or perhaps converted civilian?, your expertise would be much appreciated and all comments and input are welcome, thanks in advance.

These appear identical to those most collectors refer to as Czech fake FJ boots. But, what are they? Military issue after the war? Aged fakes? Modified military post war boots?

I don't have the answer, but know they are not WWII FJ issue boots.

              who knows may tell,

Thanks for your input mister Zahn, unfortunately no FJ and perhaps not even period, than the question indeed stands, what are they?, foreign or perhaps converted civilian boots?, because the soles do occur WWII period to me?.
