This may be a long shot but could anyone tell me how I could find out more information about a LW soldier whose 4 pocket tunic I have in my possession? It is named to a soldat in the II/Reg, Regiment General Goring, dated 1936. The tailor had sewn in a white name label near one of the inside pockets which I assume is the name of the soldier it was made for.
Is there a German governmental agency I could contact to find ot more about this LW soldier (like whether he survived te war, where he was from, etc)? Thanks in advance!
