FJ Enlistment/Obligation Documents...

Thought I would share these two unusual FJ documents. The first is the enlistment paper for a FJ in FJR1. This document is signed by Bräuer, the well-known commander of FJR1 at the time. It was completed at Stendal, the first FJ Fallschirmschule.

This one is an "obligation" document for another FJ....this time a member of 1./FJR1, and signed by Gericke, another well-known FJ officer. The obligation period for this FJ's service is from Jan 27, 1939 to Sept 30, 1940 and was signed on Dec 15, 1938.....also completed at Stendal.

Outstanding early documents. These are much rarer than people think. I almost never see pieces like this coming available. Perhaps to some people not a "sexy" as an award document, but from a period when there were very few paratroopers, thus, for me at least, much better than many of the war time award docs.
