Not jump boots. No FJ boots had speed laces. Look like normal ankle boots.

      Regards,
      Steve

        FJ-boots with speed-laces exist.

Here the soldier is wearing normal ankle boots.

At the moment I dont know where they are. I owned a pair over 10 years ago, they came from a fleamarket in Ludwigshafen. Back then I did some images before I have traded them for a FJ-helmet, but have to dig out the fotos.

Another pair is - if I remember correctly - in Uwe Feist´s book about german paratroopers, they belong to the bavarian army museum, Ingolstadt.

And a 3rd pair was found on a fleamarket in the Stuattgart area last year, were offered to me, but couldnt use a pair then. They ended up at a dealer in northern germany, and they are still there - I guess. I have seen the discussion about those, but they are 100% original, apart from the modern replaced soles.

I never had any experiences with such a pair. So I don´t know.

But I just found something very interesting (see picture in post #12 and John´s mention)
