    Opinions on a "relic" shell

There have been a lot of "relic" shells showing up lately on the various auction locations online - ebay among others. These are coming from all over Europe: Latvia, Italy, UK...etc.. any opinions on these? and in particular, this one?

    Thanks!

    The bolts look very odd.

On the shell, a bunch are being looted from graves in the east. I am one who frowns upon buying relics unless the source is alittle more clear.

      Hello Ardennes,

      So many showing up lately...

what a nice way to move along a chinese

helmet.. they all do not come from europe,

and since G-Max placed their order with

the mainland, the dies are in place and scream

(email, letters etc.) for dealers to order - since

large quantities are what the Chinese are after,

inventive and various ways are needed to 'move'

these puppies - or maybe not - look at the FJ Helm

from the land of OZ that just sold on eBay for US 1,800 -

this is not to say that dug helmets are not being or

have not been found - but when the amount of $$$ gets

stratospheric, well, then creativity will abound.
