Hi Peter, sorry to say the Army Para badge is a fake. You can find this type with the large triangular pressing in the back of the eagle featured in Eric & Prospers article here on the site.

Dreadful! Wear gloves if handling. Seriously, the APB is a pretty crude fake and the ridiculous 'Ges Gesch' mark, which translates roughly as 'patent applied for' is the instant visual giveaway on the LW version...although its overall appearance is also an indication.
