What we do know is that it is not a SS FJ cufftitle. A M43 SS tunic or a Fliegerbluse is not a dress tunic. They are field uniforms. We also know that FJs, whether they be SS or Luft, didn't wear their smocks in the field all the time. There is plenty of photographic evidence, as well as "soldier field logic", to support that.
