A few months ago we had a thread on German military maps of Kreta. Jean-Yves in his recent Kreta book, included some nice ones. Here is a 1942 edition of the area surrounding Maleme airfield, the Platanias area.

And here is a closeup showing the Maleme area. Note the terrain features, and the area known as "Hill 107", just south of the airfield.
