Juncker or Junk ?

Currently being trashed over on the Badges bulletin board, what do you gents think? Early Juncker or recent Junker?

Now that IS VERY strange. This is an Assmann style eagle, unique to that firm.

Hi John yes, it is very similar to the Assman eagle, the way the wings are cut out but not identical. I've not seen another like this anywhere. Yep, wierd!

Hi Dave. I understand your frustration with the fact that nobody on this forum will concur that your badge is authentic. It appears that you, alone, believe the badge is authentic... and nobody else does.

Allow me to make a recommendation: You should contact Mike Tucker at Authentic Militaria .com. and send him a scan of the badge.

Mike seems to cut a "wide berth" when it comes to authenticating Luftwaffe badges. Mike may agree with you that the badge is authentic, and you and he might share some common interests in this badge .
