Sorry, but this a a very poorly artifically aged repro. The zipper, snaps, features, straps, buckles, wooden plug.....all lacking the correct details.

I agree with the others, aging looks odd, and under many aspects is different from unquestionable originals.

I have no experience with these FJ Gasmask bags at all, but the aging looks very poor. In pic#6 it looks like they used some sort acid on the metal fittings. I have seen this on metal parts of many many fakes. I think it is Salpeter Säure (acid). They often use this to age the color of Czech fake helmet.

Though we all like to find bargains, on today's global militaria market, many would say because of the internet, the price is a pretty sure indicator of authenticity. Not an absolute, but when things are priced at a fraction of the going price, it is time to proceed with caution.
