    Genuine : yes , the liner size 68 is just not matching with the shell size 71 but that happened.

            Thank you guys ! Yes it comes out of an old barn.The liner is marked with "Oberjäger Telle".Do you think I should clean it a little bit ?

              just my opinion let is as found.. to clean this piece destroy the patina of the last decades and after cleaning you see
              only a rusted helmet .

                  I would leave it as is. Cleaning it risks ruining it. Just keep it in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and temperature extremes and it should continue to exist for future generations.
