Hi guys,

I know I'm in good hands here when I ask you opinion on this helmet...

I know little about these but I'll give my observations first to see how I'd doing!

I don't think it's a genuine untouched helmet for the following:

1. Paint finish seems immaculate
2. Chin straps seem immaculate yet the liner is not
3. The bolts are (I believe early) yet ther is no sign of any decal having ever been applied

I saw a camo para helmet that had the same distorted liner like the one pictured here.

The seller told me it was in an attic and the heat had gotton to it.

I asked him was there a "Blow torch" in the attic with it.
It is a lame attempt to cover up a fake liner...........

Not to mention all the other things wrong with the helmet.

Is that a bondo spot on the last pic? Looks like a dent or hole was filled in and painted over.

I don't like the interior of this helmet...It seems so unusual...

It is possible that the shell could be real. Can't tell in an absolute manner from the photos. But, the liner, straps, padding, band.............all bad.... Something to keep away from.

I tracked this helmet through it's life on e-kak and the final price was...are you sitting down...

That's a very expensive piece of junk.

A selling price of less than half of the value, if it were completely correct, is always the final test in what most thought about it. A shame that the ones who get these messed with items for less than value can't understand that logic.
