                    Hey R,
What makes you think it's a repro ?

                    Regards,
                    Steve

I am not an expert but this smock is a little too 'minty!' It's a great Repro. Does it have anything to do with Tom Sullivan?

                          Yuk !

                          Don't like the colors !

Even if it turns out to be original... still I don't like the colors.
My gut feeling says NOT ORIGINAL WWII

Let's hear what Willi says about this.

I am certainly no expert but if thats original then its been stored in a vacum since 1939! its emaculate! gotta be repro. Looks good though, for the right price.

Minty, or stored in a vaccum, have nothing to do with authenticity! Most of the tan, tropical jump smocks are stone mint and look as though they were made yesterday. Their prym snaps are so new they look chrome plated and polished.

The clear problem is this looks more like an M38. M38s were not made in splinter, sooooooooooo.

M40s, that were made in green and in splinter, and were used on Crete, have features this smock is lacking.

                              Frighteningly good repro pattern though!!!!
