Another M37 for sale.

Hi,
It's on eBay. # 732151360 Also coming from Italy. I was able to see that one on Manions right now, which also appears to have been made in northern Italy. But I have one question: what is the chance these are original though reworked M35 helmets?

Hi Cesar,

They probably are using an original M35 (Heer) to start off the modfication. And, they will probably get better as they learn from us.

But, as a FJ veteran said when he looked at one of the fakes ...."it just doesn't look like prewar German craftmanship"...he was referring to the sloppy job on the new rolled rim.

On a similiar note, I was just reading the September issue of the British publication "Military Illustrated" and saw in the auction section that a very obvious Czech repro FJ helmet (camo and painted around the decal) sold at Wallis and Wallis for 1400 pounds. Went to an overseas buyer the article said....... poor guy!

These damn things are all over.....
