    Nice helmet, should it be used in the May days '40?

      Nice helmet! It was likely used in the summer/fall of 1944. Many of these "Normandy" green/tan saw dust camos were found in Holland. Troops, such as elements of FJR6, pulled back to Holland to reform in the fall of 1944...then came market Garden.
