George Reitberger killed on 1st Day of the Airborne Assault on Crete.
He died in a Field Hospital after receiving Last Rites.
Buried in the German War Cemetary near Maleme.

Fritz Brameshuber killed on the second day of "Operation Mercury" near the village of Pirgos which is close to the airfield at Maleme.
Rare card showing him in full jump Gear, holding his Static Line.
Buried in the German War Cemetary near Maleme.

If anyone can identify the exact company/units the above FJ belonged to, I would be very interested to hear.

Have you any interesting FJ Deathcards? If so let's see them.
        RAY.

                          Giday Bill,

I believe that further research may confirm that Josef Fischer was a member of the 3rd Kompanie of the Luftlande Sturm Regiment.

                          Best wishes,

                          Ian Tannahill
