Look for some info and/or possible authentication on what appears to be some kind of Fallschirmjager rank patch. It looks similar to some in some respects to some legitimate examples, being stitched to a rectangular backing which would itself be attached to a para smock. However, I've yet to see an example of a fallschirmjager rank patch done in green and stitched to a splinter camo backing. I know that the Wehrmacht did employ green rank insignia on their camo smocks, however, I've yet to any documented use of the Luftwaffe the following suit. Is there any chance that this is was something that was legitimately done in the field or elsewhere? I bought this one a lark without giving it much thought until after purchased (a mistake on my part I know), so any information regarding this would be greatly appreciated!
