    Buckle

I found this buckle the other day on a landingszone of Fallschirmjäger Regiment 1 in Holland. Only German para's landed here.

I thought it might be the side buckle of an RZ 1 harness but I don't have the proper pictures to make sure.

I know there are some experts here. Is this an RZ 1 buckle?

Too bad. I thought it might have been one of these buckles:

Any chance it's a buckle of a Versorgungsbombe or other kind of droppings container? They where dropped here a lot.

        Thats my RZ1
Al those buckles have only 1 center piece, so 3 in total, not 4 like at yours.

Might be from a drop container, inner securing strap. Drop container chutes, dint think so, had some in the past, none had a similar buckle.

          Great piece you have there!
Inner securing strap would actually make sense, especially with the extra center piece. The buckle does seem old but it could also just be of someone's backpack.
Still curious though if it's FJ related.
