    Bevo Eagles

These came with a collection of military material I bought mostly collected in the 1970s. They look good to me but I wanted to run them here to see what you all think. Thanks

      re

Hello Nutmeg the second one is IMO a copy
I never saw the first type so I can judge about that one

          Spot on,John..

Compare to this wartime pic..,watch the the right wing ..

What we see are 2 different designs,of which one is bad IMO..
Or a second design exists and is copied all over the world..
I don't know of a second design this moment,so for now I'll take it as bad.
          Also,these copies feel different.

There's still quite a lot to learn about breast/cap eagles,so feel free to share the info with us if you've any concerning Luft Bevo style...(or others)..

Concerning the eagle on top..,same story I guess..,or I don't know this particular pattern.
I only know of one pattern Bevo drooptail sofar.
Here's one of one of our members, hope he doesn't care..?!
If more patterns exist I'd like to see them as textbook known originals first.

Think this should be the pattern..,although there's quite some difference with the one on top..

I agree with Jos and Johnny, I have seen the fake eagle (bottom in Johnny's photo) on reproduction flying blouses and reproduction jump smocks, but never on an authentic piece. This style repro. BEVO eagle has been around a long time.

This thread best fits in the uniform section.

I think I have one that is also probably fake. I see them more and more at shows now.
