    Stihl Jump Helmet

Needed a close fitting helmet to work on hung-up trees in heavy woods. Couldn't pass this one up...

International orange is a solid color.
    Where’s the matching face mask?

Well Willi, I hate to tell you this but its a complete fake. The bolt patterns are all wrong.

That is a nice helmet; I never thought about using one while cutting.

                  Exactly!

@101. Never wore one all these years, or when cutting on the ground, but with hung trees and dead branches 80+' up on the new property, they can break off just because of the vibration...... and they are always a lot larger than they look. I learned that the hard way! Also now wear chaps when climbing around logs, as after once trying to stop the bleeding of neighbor's thigh after he tripped and cut himself, I didn't need much encouragement.

This helmet is designed to take a hit.

Yeah, I was cutting, and the blade rubbed my pant leg, thought I'd be bleeding any minute, but it never touched the skin. Lucky me. I use my Stilh a lot on my property. Just broke the front handle guard, and it's leaking oil, so I need to bring it in before I can continue with the spring clean up.
