fallschirm parachute material ?

Hello, I was given this piece of silk cloth by an established collector. He claims it is part of a German military parachute WW2. Can anyone please confirm or deny ? (if you scroll down you see the light green colour also)

Philip, it does look original. But, who knows which chute it is from. FJ or supply chute? The FJ chutes are usually of a finer quality rayon than the supply chutes.

BTW, your package should be arriving soon.

yep, piece of ww2 german camo from the parachute no question.As to fabric could be silk or Rayon
