identification disc - LW codes?

I couldn't find any information about the codes that were used on LW erkennungsmarken. Was the Luftwaffe the only one to use codes with only numbers and were they really only meant for flying personnel and paratroopers?

I have one with nr. 176 . 795 (soldier's number 199). Does anybody know which unit could this be?

It is a very long time since I have posted anything on the forum.

To the best of my knowledge, the number quoted above is not a number that was used on identity discs issued to members of a dedicated Fallschirmjäger unit.

Unfortunately i don't have a list other than the Fj one.. sorry i can't help you
