I guess nobody wants to say.

The stitch pattern is not the usual type, so for that reason alone I wouldn't want them.
Having said that, there are a few features I like.
What do you think Gerd ?

                        Steve

Are there any markings on the tongue ?

Thanks Steve, that you´re straight here!

I´m 45 and I saw a lot very bad things in my job......so believe me, I can live with negative answers/opinions (sometimes ).

I wouldn´t ask the audience, if I had fear to receive an answer.

To the boots! Yep, there is something wrong with. The soles are professional new made IMHO, but the hardware in some parts seems to be old. Just wondering how old.... no markings on the tongue. The tongues are resewned to the boot leg! There are new made stitching holes beside the old ones visible.

What are they???????????? Restored original FJ boots or self made FJ boots using some old boots for??????????

                            Hi Gerd,

well Steve said it, the stitch pattern is unusual to say the least. I also don't like the way that the soles have been attached to the uppers.
Could it be possible that these boots have been taller (motorcycle) pre-war boots (hence the old hardware) and were shortened? I have seen this happen to boots to make them look like FJ boots, a Czech speciallity. Also the fact that the tongue has been reattached to the boot is a reason for concern, especially as this is one of the most prominent features of an FJ boot.
I also am not keen on the way the leather was marked.
The fact that the tongue doesn't have any markings doesn't mean much as un-marked tongues are not uncommon.

                              Ben you´re right!

The boots have been shortened! The rear seam has been stitched together (see pic #6), so that the boots got that FJ typical style and form. Nice work....
