Dear Members,
Fallchirmjäger are not my collecting field, that is why I never wrote in this topic till now. But I have a question regarding Fallschirmjäger who (some of them) wore in the Ardennes (battle of Bulge) Hungarian winterparkas.
I know, some members of this forum already wrote/talked about them, but now I would like to get some other, detailed informations. There is a theory among some Hungarian collectors, that these parkas were given to some Fallschrimjäger units in 1944, who were refreshed and reequipped in Hungary near Lake Balaton. But unfortunately till now no proof for this theory.
So my questions are:
1.Which FJ units were refreshed in 1944 in Hungary before the Battle of Bulge?
2. How did these units got these Hungarian Parkas?
Thank you in advance for your help!
