From 24 Nov 1942 his unit was "Rasse- und Siedlungshauptamt-SS" a unit which

was responsible for the implementation of the Nazi "pure race" Programme in the occupied

countries.

This was the reasen your guy 30.9.1944 was awardet with the "Medaille für Deutsche

Volkspflege".
