more than likely a good copy.. it falls within a few hundred of the other tag shown,,,yet its missing the VT,,and the concerns you bring up Airdale.. Everyone is different,, for myself I'd leave be it be and get one more in line with the known standard examples..

yes this is a bad example.. many of period ww2 found in Czech Republic on escape route where SS units tried to escape to US lines but all in completely worse condition and on different material.

I would avoid this one.

I see that disc is being cracked, usually happends after stamping on blank ground dug disc when material is not good already.

Also from one side, without letters, is disc completely zinc pested, while on side with letters is OK - most likely cleaned so they can postwar stamp it.

Strange is also to see double SS stamp - I dont see any reason for this.

I was not googling if this code is legit, I just comment on what I see as a metal detectorist.
