I can not find it....

The official Sanitäts Vorschrift Teil 8 dated 1939 gives 31 as "Verwundungen und Erkrankungen durch Feindeinwirkung"....there are no subcatagories and I have never seen it in any original manual either!!!

Taken from "Die Krankheitsnummer der Wehrmacht". No idea in what period publication the sub catagories appear......only seen them in modern day references!!!

Many thanks, it looks like h , but the next entry states b, it's probably b.

Definately does look like a "h".... I will have another dig around in my documents over the weekend..or maybe tonight if I get the chance.

The entries for 31b are over 1 year later, however they are on consecutive days with the remarks he was fit for active duty....perhaps these were medical checkups as a result of his preivious injury 31b!?!!?!?

On 7.4.1944 when he was discharged from hospital, it has the entry that he is not yet fit for service.
