    Wehrpass 77. ID - Gren.Rgt. 1050 - First Day - D-Day

I Got this nice Wehrpass - a "Zweitschrift" for a guy - born 1925 - he served with the Gren. rgt. 1050 in 1944 at France......

What do you think - possible he was wounded at the First Day of invasion - at the D-Day ?
Later he got in July 1944 the Wound badge......
I think its an Interested Wehrpass....but without a lot of entrys....typical "Zweitschrift".....

HePHello, he was not wounded during the figths because his regiment was not arrived at that time but certainly during some air attacks on the road. Such attacks are reported on first 77.ID infantry units during their transport, near Pontaubault (Avranches area).
His wound was enough serious that he stayed in training and depot bataillon 460 during all the summer.
